APPOMATTOX TOWN TREE BOARD
The Town of Appomattox is accepting applications from interested persons willing to serve on the Appomattox Town Tree Board. There are currently one (1) vacancy on the board.

Applications may be obtained from the Appomattox Municipal Building, 210 Linden Street, Appomattox, Virginia between the hours of 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling 434-352-8268, by email rpaulette@appomattoxva.gov or by visiting our website www.townofappomattox.com.

Completed application deadline is open until filled.

Requirement: The applicant must be an adult resident of the Town of Appomattox (within the corporate limits).

TREE BOARD

The Town of Appomattox Tree Board, which shall be made up of seven members; five of which are to be citizens and residents of the Town of Appomattox, Virginia, and who are to be appointed by the Town Council.  The town may appoint a member recommended by the Appomattox Garden Club, and non-residence in the town shall not impair the membership status of this individual.  The Virginia State Forester shall serve as a standing member of the board.

The Appomattox Town Tree Board meets on the second Thursday of each month with the exceptions of July and December at 6:00 p.m. at the Appomattox Municipal Building, 210 Linden Street, Appomattox, Virginia.
