CITIZEN SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
The Town of Appomattox is accepting applications from interested persons willing to serve on the Town Economic Development Authority Board. Applicants shall reside in the Town of Appomattox or an adjoining jurisdiction (Appomattox County). Applications may be obtained from the Appomattox Municipal Building, 210 Linden Street, Appomattox, Virginia between the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday, by calling 434-352-8268, by emailing Christy Torrence, Office Manager, at ctorrence [at] appomattoxva.gov (ctorrence[at]appomattoxva[dot]gov) or by visiting the Town of Appomattox website (www.townofappomattox.com). Completed application deadline is Monday, July 13, 2026 by 4:30 p.m.
