PUBLIC NOTICE:
After July 16, Waste Co will be taking over trash collection for the Town of Appomattox. Pickup day will remain on Tuesday.
Waste Co will be using the GFL cans and will put their company stickers on them. This transition process may take a few weeks to complete.
Reminder that residents get one can and can rent one additional can (for a max of 2). Businesses get up to two cans and can rent up to two additional cans (for a max of 4). Additional cans are $10 per can per month and are added to the account's utility bill. If a business needs more than 4 cans, they should contact Waste Co for information on dumpsters (various sizes are available).

Due to restricted widths during the waterline construction, there is currently NO PARKING on Church Street (between Atwood Street and Highland Avenue) from the hours 5:00 am - 5:00 pm during the week (Monday - Friday).
Residents will have access to their driveways. Patrons of Rail Yard Restaurant & Sports Lounge and Carmine's Pizzeria are encouraged to utilize the parking lots on Atwood Street and Oakleigh Ave (behind Carmine's) during breakfasts and lunch hours.
